Peter Collins

Pete’s love for crafting began as a small boy. He spent much of his childhood tinkering in his father’s shed, building billycarts, bows and arrows and cubbyhouses. This passion for creating led Pete to complete his apprenticeship as a cabinet maker with Montague Furniture, a high-end third-generation furniture maker in Sydney. From there, his quest to become a world-class master craftsman has led him across the globe. Pete spent ten years working alongside one of the world’s most elite craftsman David Boucher from Boucher & Co, where he was trusted to design and craft an exquisite collection of furniture masterpieces for Australian and British Dignitaries, Royalty and Hollywood stars.

A self-confessed perfectionist, Pete has scoured the world for the finest and rarest materials, settling in Tasmania’s pristine forests, where he is surrounded by a treasure trove of the world’s greatest hardwood timbers. Handcrafting one exquisite bespoke piece a year, this infinity whiskey cabinet is a fine example of his high end craftmanship. With every facet hand made, this cabinet includes an infinity display, secret compartments and hand matched timbers. This is a piece that will be a highlight for generations.

Overeem Whisky

Decades ago, Casey Overeem, founder of Overeem Distillery and one of Tasmania's original whisky pioneers, made himself a promise - a promise to create a single malt whisky that he could enjoy alongside the great whiskies of the world. It was this single pledge that guided the philosophy upon which Overeem was built. Meticulous craftsmanship, patience and discipline, have resulted in Overeem Whisky being recognised as one of the most respected luxury whiskies in Australia. Overeem Whisky is made from the finest ingredients Tasmania has to offer, with barley to rival the best in the world and water recognised as the cleanest.

Overeem Whisky is meticulously made, with slow and measured production techniques that have been carried out since the distillery's inception in 2007. A slow, patient and sensory driven approach to whisky creation through long fermentations, low and slow distillations, cool and long maturations, and non-chill filtration all speak to the quality of the final product where nothing is compromised, and no corners cut.
