In David Keeling’s latest exhibition titled View for the Dream Palace, he represents the contemporary Australian landscape viewed from inside the architectural spaces of the built environment. These cool, high, modernist interiors frame rich jewel like glimpses of the natural world. Keeling is one of Australia’s foremost landscape painters. His significance as a post-modern painter has been marked by: prestigious prizes; three European studio residences in London, Rome and Verdaccio; national and international exhibitions; and wide representation in public and private collections including the National Gallery of Australia. David Keeling is represented by Bett Gallery, Hobart; Niagara Galleries, Melbourne and King Street Gallery, Sydney.
