Anthropocene – a new epoch resulting from human influence and destruction on earth. It is believed many insects including the cannibal ant, the wasp, the cockroach, the scorpion and the centipede will survive the Anthropocene. These insects are represented escaping from the collector’s cabinet. The Anthropocene Cabinet is based on 16th century Vargueno cabinets and 17th century collectors’ chests.
